our trip was a ton of fun! it was super relaxing and just a fun time to hang with family! so here are some of our adventures...

at the very end of the trip our houseboat crashed into a dock and then a beach...luckily no harm done to it physically! but it sure did end our trip with some excitement!

So for the past few weeks grace has been sleeping in my room and every night she wants to tell me about her day... so here is our conversation!

Me: So are you excited to go back to school tomorrow!

Grace: Yes! because if you don't go to school your brain will get smaller!

Me: Ya sure!

Then we started to talk about church...

Grace:Also, if you don't go to church your brain will get small and crooked!

Me: i just laughed and said well lets go to sleep!

This last week Dixie College had "D Week" and ended it with a free carnival on friday, so we went. Grace and Anna's favorite thing was the huge slide.

grace learned to hula hoop a couple months ago and was showing off her skills!

so on saturday we went up to my grandpa's orchard to help him pick up all the branches around the trees he pruned , and my mom almost mistaked this snake for a stick! luckily she didnt pick it up!

On Monday, Rachel went to a cupcake making class and brought her kids Adria and Jason over to play. This last week Adria finally got off oxygen! So of course i had to take pictures of her face without any tubes on it! i love this pic because she was asleep and then all of a sudden she smiled! (I think She is proud of herself for progressing so fast!)
Rachel and Pete took her up to Primary Children's a few weeks ago and the doctors said that her legs are in the sockets but her left leg is still turned outwards a little bit, so she needs her braces for a little bit longer!
i am so proud of this bow i made! (thanks for the idea Marie and Marcia!) it was so easy i made one for each of my little sisters, and i'll probably make a ton more cuz they are so dang cute!
Anyways, to top off the weekend, and start this week, i got my braces off! finally after almost 3 years! oh how i love my new smile! ill get pics up soon!

Here are just a few pictures of Adria recently.... i went to go see her in the NICU again tonight and she is huge! she is at 6 lbs. now and got moved to a crib! she is growing up way too fast!

So here is the story about this tree........
About two weeks ago, my grandpa, my family and my uncle brad's family all went up to cut down a christmas tree. We got up to Pine Valley, pulled off to the side of the road, and after about and hour of searching we cut two trees down. One for Brad, and one for my family and a tiny one for me! It got dark fast, so we didn't have enough time to find one for my uncle Steve's family so we just loaded them up into my grandpa's truck and Brad's family headed back to St. George. My family went to Erica's concert at the fire station in Pine Valley. Right after we got home my grandpa pulls up to our house, and tells us that Brad's tree flew out of the truck, and hit the car passing them, luckily only smashing the headlight of the passing car and smashing Brad's tree. So i guess Sheri, Brad's wife, just tied the branches that fell off back on and decorated it the next day!.....................Anyways, because we didn't get a tree for Steve we gave them our tree. A few days later, i had a basketball game up in Enterprise, so my mom loaded up Grace and Lily and decided they would go cut a tree down for us, since we gave ours away. Not really thinking, she realized it had snowed that day, so she couldnt go cut one..... so she just went to my game..... on the way home, she saw a tree laying on the side of the road covered in snow, so she picked it up and threw it in the back of our truck. At this point Grace stared crying.... she told my mom she hated that tree, and she wouldn't help decorate it! The next day my mom set it up, and Grace got home from school and started crying agian....I dont think she ever did help decorate it, but she seems to be okay with it now! So thats the crazy story about how we got our tree this year!

So here is the update on rachels baby! Her name is officially Adria Jo Kuhlmann, she weighs about 4 lbs. and is doing great!

they've had a cast on her left leg for awhie, but the day i went to go see her she had it off! so far her leg is lookin great, but they may have to put the cast on again. Also, if you look at her hand she has a red mark.....my uncle brad also has it also, and it's no problem, its just a birth mark.....so i guess it just runs in the family! He surely has a new favorite niece now!

Grace: You're finally awake Erica! You haven't eaten yet, do you want some of my cookie?

Erica: Not right now, I'll eat later! Thanks though!

Grace: Oh ya!!! Your baptized..... and that means you cant eat until you're REALLY REALLY hungry.

Erica: You are so smart grace!

Ah that just made my day..... 5 year olds say the funniest things! gotta love em'!

Rachel's new little girl!

Just last Tuesday Rachel had her baby after sitting on a hospital bed for a whole month! She is 8 weeks early, at 3lbs. 10oz., and 15 3/4 inches long! Rachel's first time holding her!

so..... because rachel had so little amniotic fluid, her baby was breech, and couldnt move around the whole pregnancy, her one of her legs is hyperextended (bends the other way!) Anyways so far she is doing super great and is hangin in there. Pete, said that they have a cast on her leg that to help bend normally... and rachel is doing pretty good also other than a few blood clots in her legs. So she's in the hospital just a few more days to get those away!

so here are just a bunch of things ive made these last few weeks just for fun........:)

ahhhh these cupcakes are by far my favorite things in the whole world!!!! i just made them tonight and i love them!!!

all i did was make brownies from a box, scoop little balls out from it, shape them into cupcakes, and dip them in white chocolate bark, mint chocolate chips, and just normal milk chocolate bark and walla.... a delicious treat!

Anna, Lily, Grace, and i made these butterfly cookies! they were also super delicious! all these pic's posted are the ones i did!

My mom's cousin Adrianne had her baby at 27 weeks and 5 days!!! Her water broke at 22 weeks, so she was in the hospital until she had him which was just on Sunday! So far everything is going pretty good luckily hes breathing way better now, but he still has to have the breathing tube!

On Wednesday we left up to Little Thunder Ridge for girls camp!!! Here's some of the fun we had!

The day the bishopbric came up, we tied all the first and second years up to the trees around our camp!
if you look close there is a cockroach stikin out of Emily's mouth! you can thank me for that idea!

On our way home there was about 200 sheep crossing the road. It took forever just to get down the mountain! finally we got home, and wow a shower hasn't felt so AMAZING for a long time!
